Spellcasting Focus

An item that is used by some spellcasters to direct their magical energy and removing the need to consume material component cost for casting the spell.

If a cost is indicated for a component, the character must still have that specific component before casting spells.

Unless the spellcasting focus is worn or emblazoned on the character's equipment, the character must be holding it when casting spells to gain its benefits.
